Your Heart Yearns to Breathe Free

Artbrokencig

Smoking is bad for you.

Quitting is good for you.

However, did you know how good?

According to an article in the latest Heart Insight Magazine the benefits from quitting start the day you stop!

  • The day you quit your circulation improves and your blood pressure and heart rate begins to drop -- Results right away!
  • Within a few days breathing will ease and food will taste and smell better.
  • Keep it up and in a few months your lungs will function up to 30% better.
  • Keep your new smoke-free lifestyle for a year and your risk of heart attack is cut in half!

Many communities are working toward smoking bans in public places.  Join their efforts by joining the American Heart Association’s You're the Cure Network

After 35 years of smoking I discovered Chantix last year and quit smoking in 3 days with no wild mood swings or withdrawal problems. Hard to believe I know -- but it worked for me! I encourage EVERYONE to learn more about it. I understand the success rate is about 44%. Much better than the patch, gum, hypnosis, cold turkey. I quit a year ago and haven't looked back. Hope it can help others.

Congratulations Merri! Thank you for sharing your story and advice!
